Westside Striking is a boxing and kickboxing club based out of Wai‘anae, O‘ahu. The club consists of many adolescents and adults whom have a passion for martial arts focusing on using their limbs to contact opponents. From ages 6-60 years old, the Westside Striking Club which is owned and operated by Michael Talalotu, a Hawai‘i Kickboxing amateur champion has produced many national and world champions under his tutelage. Michael or coach Mike as he is known to be called was a one time Hawaiian island favorite as he competed under many of the boxing undercards with World Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion Dennis Alexio.

The club trains 7 days a week and participates in tournaments all over the world. From Bosnia, California, Las Vegas, New Jersey, Texas, Louisiana and Tennessee, the Westside Striking Club has taken their talents all over the globe. The club’s motto is "train hard and fight easy" which is what coach Mike believes in to create hardworking passionate strikers.

The club also participates in many community services events like food drives and beach clean ups. The purpose of having members participate in the various community events is to create a well rounded individual whom not only is a great fighter and competitor but can also be very humble and care for others.
