The Westside Striking Club which is owned and operated by Michael Talalotu a Hawai‘i kickboxing amateur champion has produced many national and world champions under his tutelage. Michael or coach Mike as he is known to be called was a one time Hawaiian island favorite as he competed under many of the boxing undercards with World Heavyweight Kickboxing Champion Dennis Alexio.
